Avocado Black Bean Burgers Recipe

I am passionate about making tasty and wholesome recipes. My Avocado Black Bean Burgers are an embodiment of that.

They are full of plant-powered protein, with a can of black beans serving as the base. Black beans are not only a great source of protein but also a way more heart-healthy alternative to their bovine counterparts.

Ripe avocados have a creamy texture that not only helps bind the ingredients together but also adds some much-needed healthy fats. Red onions provide a sharp taste that makes a burger a burger, while cumin and chili powder offer a zesty kick.

No burger is complete without the perfect toppings, and my go-to burger trimmings are as fresh as can be.

Black beans: They form a base that is rich in fiber and protein and that heartily stands up to whatever you choose to put on top of them.

Avocado: Provides healthful fats, a velvety mouthfeel, and a vitamin E boost.

Bread crumbs: They contribute to the overall structure and to the binding together of all the components in the dish.

Cilantro: Gives the burgers a refreshing quality while adding a bright, herby taste.

Cumin, when ground, deepens the flavor with warm, earthy notes.
